If you’re not hitting the target then your problem isn’t the 3 yard deviation. Given the method you describe, I’m assuming you’re not shooting anything important or furry. Just steel? If so, try hanging something reflective like reflective tape on the target stand, or on a flag above it...- taliv

I really don't think the difference in zeroing at 100 vs 102 yards is going to make a difference on your dope. like, i don't think it's measurable. even if you were shooting in the teens- taliv

@DocUSMCRetired There’s an annoying bug on latest version with Bluetooth. If iPhone settings in apps deny Bluetooth access to AB Q, and you open AB app and accidentally press the devices button on the bottom menu it brings up a note saying you have to give AB access to Bluetooth and attempts...- taliv

300 Norma H-1000 max?
For reference this is what they sent me for 245g LRHT since I switched to them anyway. My load again is 75.02g h1000 which is on the low end of their charge weight. Any more and I get pressure. But my velocity is above max. In Dec I shot a belly match. 26* and chronoed all rounds with...- taliv

300 Norma H-1000 max?
I had a lengthy convo with Berger last november and this is what they sent me. My load for 230g (axsr 27” 300nm barrel) is just 79.90g h1000. Gives me about 2930 fps around 40-50* F ambient. I start getting pressure signs around 81g so can’t get close to max powder but WAY over max velocity...- taliv

lol well 16* is Arctic as far as TN is concerned just like people in FL dress like eskimos when it gets under 50. But I was surprised how easy it was to operate with ski gloves. I only had to take the glove off to take pics with the iPhone. I left the gun and ammo outside most of yesterday...- taliv

I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t be intuitively obvious. I have 30 ultra and 338 ultra gen 2 and one of them is enormous compared to the other. Volume matters and yeah it sounds great with 300nm- taliv

It’s not the thumbhole that makes it better. It’s that holding plastic or fiberglass is way more comfortable than metal because of specific heat. Holding my axsr when it’s freezing just sucks the heat right out.- taliv
