Its just a question cause I cannot find a clear answer, most we let off was 32lbs and that was to remove a large stump....which worked amazingly. I just wanted to have an answer for future reference and to answer my own curiosity. If by chance I decide to go bigger I want to be legal doin it.

I have a Precision Armament M11 brake on my 300wm sendero, and I swear it recoils less then my 223 AR. And as being the shooter the percussion isnt bad, can get away with ear plugs only and only hear a "pop". But if not directly behind the rifle its loud as hell.

Hlee i never seen that video before and thats pretty badass except he has to re-establish cheek weld after every shot, and might be a pita doin that while laying prone. But thats a great idea to do.

Ok i plan on doin a single shot bolt action. I have one question, is it possible to load a 300 win mag cartridge into a short action? I know the cartridge is long and wont feed from a internal mag or box mag in short action. I plan on loading each one by hand. And my reason for asking is i want...
