I really like the bushnell ar low power scope 1-4x24 but hate the bdc reticle mainly because running handloads more than likely wont jive. I am looking for a sub $300 scope with mildot, EXPOSED turrets and no exit bell (so after the turrets the tube stays the same size) I have tried...
When I do load developement and I find 4 or 5 charges I like I usually shoot 3 5 shot groups of each one....Should I judge my best charge by overall best group measurement or by the group with the least amount of elevation spread and attribute the left and right to be shooter error?
Purchased one of these impact bullet puller, its time consuming for my 223 but its better than nothing. When I try to use it with my 7mm mag (belted mag case) the belt eats away at the flat part of the collet and then lets a full round drop through. My solution was to turn the collet upside...
I have decided to build/buy a new 308....I have come to the crossroads of buying action, barrel, stock etc or buy a Les Baer bolt gun. I expect spending around $3500 (less rings and scope) either way. The good of building I have the satisfaction of getting exactly what I want and I can buy my...
So I have been realoading for about a year and I want to take out some of the margin of error I get with my current setup. Right now I have a lee kit and have picked up a cheap digital scale, cheap dies, cheap tumbler, etc. If someone knows of an article or prior post that talks about bullet...
I am building a new rifle starting with a custom action. I was wondering if someone could point me towards some info regarding what to look for in an action as far as dual port, single port, bolt dia. etc etc.
I am so disgusted with both of the cheap scales I own I am almost to the point of buying target ammo. So in an effort to keep my reloading alive I am going to buy the best scale or scale trickler combo there is. Money not an issue on this purchase. Whats the recommendation?
Casted my first set today and I had an issue. I didnt get some of the molds filled all the way. The length is find and the bullet is fine in all regards except the bottom is not sharp on the edges.... its more round. Are these safe to shoot or should they just go back in the pot.
Purchased a cast trimmer from RCBS trying to make the process a little smoother and less strenuous. I started with a 7MM REM MAG and the shell holder RCBS suggested was #4 but I inserted the case and it is VERY sloppy are there any other holder that fit this better. Also when I turn the handle...
So rather than guessing the wind and usually being wrong I'm gonna get me a handheld "weather station". I'm thinking krestel 2500. Is this over kill, under kill or and I just wasting money with one of these
I have adjusted eyepiece focus, parallax and mounting scope farther forward and backward. Whenever I look through scope the reticle is crystal clear until I get really steady and try to take aim. At 400-1050 yards its crystal clear. What to do now
I know this has to have been discussed before and I searched for it but to no avail. I have a chrome moly barrel and want to get away from hoppes. What do you reccomend
I am starting a new winter project. I was a reliable action that is affordable $500ish range. I am not expecting this action to shoot for a mile its just something to play with over the winter. Thanks ahead for any info
So recently a buddy of mine was trashing bulk ammo saying that it would at best group 4" at 200 yards. I am not a huge fan of factory loaded ammo and deff dont like bulk loads but I had time to kill so I figured I would prove him wrong. The ammo was the Federal 100 pack from Wally World for $40...
