Here's an idea for mounting a blackhawk cheekrest that makes it easy to remove for cleaning your stick and is more secure. I got the velcro straps at our local hobby shop. They are battery straps for a Losi RC truck. The big ones, comes 3 to a pack.

Re: New Custom 700 You guys beat me to the punch, I will be using 53.3gr. That 54gr load was 135GR SIERRA AND RL-15, just a curiosity thing I did before doing the ladder test with the 110GR Barnes and 10x. I'm planning on doing the same test with this bullet to get a better BC for longer...

Re: New Custom 700 I like it a lot. Had it on this 06 before all the work and once I figured out how to use it, it works like advertised. Just hold on proper reticle and pull out to 600yd. Thinking about upgrading the turrets to match my load once I get one dialed in. Very clear even at 25x.

I bought 100 rds of 30-06 lapua brass expecting great brass. I sized in a FL RCBS die, no trim needed, turned necks(RCBS turner with brand new pilot perfect fit ), checked flash-holes, weight sorted and started checking neck runout. I found about 10% under .005 and the rest were .006-.007 out...

I have some new brass and have to apply considerable force to seat the primers. They are at uniform depth and there is no apparent deformation that I can see with the naked eye. Will a slight deformation effect ignition to the point of effecting accuracy or is depth the most critical thing...
