Re: How accurate is your AAC-SD? At 100yards using factory loads my rifle preferred the 168 FGMM. With 168fgmm it shot around .5ish, with factory 175 FGMM it shot around 1 inch.
Re: How accurate is your AAC-SD? Mike, check out RL15. It's works great in the 44-45gr range in a Winchester case and Winchester large rifle primers. In my rifle I set it to a .30 jump (2.310ogive). With 44.3gr (my load) chronos avg of 2460.
Re: How accurate is your AAC-SD? At 100yards I get between .25-.40 depending on me. At 200yards generally between .5-1 depending on me . At 600 yards (f/tr) it shoots about 1/2 moa sometimes better depending on me and the wind. Hand loaded 175smk
Re: Installed Muzzle Brake Decreasing Accuracy... Are you using factory loads or hand loads? The brake changes the harmonics of the barrel, and in some cases the muzzle velocity. this can cause a group to open or close up depending on the rifle and load. this is especially true if a load was...
Re: Rem 700 AAC build No problem, glad you like it. I don't know what happened with the epoxy, but I have WELL over 1k rounds through my rifle with it on and it still hasn't come loose. I will agree, The shape is not what I would call "ideal" but the comfort of the larger knob and knowing...

Re: Rem 700 AAC build TheWolf, is it. It's made by a company called KRG. The product is called the "bolt lift". If memory serves, it was around 30.00 and it is sturdy as a rock. I installed it (without the provided epoxy) just using the screws and washers and it has never moved. I have about...
Re: Rem 700 AAC build TheWolf, nice looking rifle! You might want to checkout RL15. A few friends of mine, along with myself have found great success using it. here's mine: 700 aac b&c tactical medalist stock, glass bedded jewell hvr @ 1lb mark IV rail and steel rings konus m30 at 100 yards...
Re: First round of load development, thoughts I agree, my loads are all medium. They are accurate, extends brass and barrel life and saves a little on powder lol. Good luck with your development and let me know how it goes!
Re: First round of load development, thoughts Wburke, from what I see (IMO) your 50gr group looks like it has potential. The 54 gr might be a one hole, but it's a big hole (looks like alot of paper was shot out when shooting. If it was me, I'd load up 5 rounds of 50-51 in .2gr increments...
