Hi, the choice of AR-15 clones in the EU is not as wide as in the US therefore I would like to ask the guys familiar with those two rifles: is Barrett so vastly superior to Sig that it is worth the extra money?
I happened to handle today the new Haenel RS 8 . The finish and overall quality is impressive. It reminds me of Blaser lrs 2. However I did not have a chance to shoot it. What strikes me is the price- it is priced at the very same level as AI AE.
I know it sounds ridiculous but I will give myself a try to compete at 300yrds distance using a rig in 223. Just to push the caliber to its limits. It won't be easy to compete with 260rem or 6.5creedmor but why not give it a try. Bearing this in mind and having a 1/9 twist, 20" barrel I am...
In terms of a)accuracy b)reliability c)price/quality ratio which one of those would you pick up Sig Sauer Model 516 Precision Marksman http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/sig516-precision-marksman.aspx Schmeisser solid 2 http://www.schmeisser-germany.de/en/sport_ar15m4solid.html ?
Hi, I intended to purchase a Magpul video, but it turned out none of dealers ships overseas. Funny thing, had no clue that such videos fall under the scope of ITAR. Do you think that might be the case?
I can expect from this rib? I came across this rifle at my local gun shop. this piece comes from from an old delivery, bought when $$ exchange rate was friendlier. So, the rifle is priced now at the same level as Sako 85 varmint. I habe been thinking 308, so the heavier the better. With 6 kilos...
I am currently preparing a paper on 260 rem and thus I started doing some research. I would be extremely grateful also for any useful information on 260's history, development and stuff.
Yo Fellas, I've just saved my pocket money and was wondering about buying/building a real tacticool sniper rifle. I don't care that much about the caliber (however my pals from the school told me that I should go with 338LM). Do you think I can get a reasonable target rifle (preferably shooting...
Recently launched on IWA. http://www.frankonia.de/images/multimedia/pdf/162882.PDF 20mm/100m guarantee. I like the classic, simplistic design. Selected match barrel (18mm diameter), match trigger, mounting system included (EAW). Price 2679 EUR.
Hi, I am looking foward to hear Scandinavian or British colleagues' views on these legendary rifles. S&L's website sucks, so I assume they produce superb stuff and don't need any advertising. Therefore, I would be eager to learn your opinion on their quality, accuracy and pricing.
Hi, I decided to purchase a bipod for my howa an thus wondering if you could toss some ideas around as to what features are critical in this regard. A swivel should be considered as necessary? Moreover, is there a reasonable alternative to Harris? If not, which of the Harris' models would you...
Savage 10 Precision Carbine or Howa 1500 Varmint in 223? Savage is lighter, has a detachable mag, accustock+acutrigger, 1:9 twist, so one can use heavier bullets. Howa is heavier (which I personally like) and a little cheaper . Which one of those 2 should be more accurate?
My next purchase- what do you think? I love the action, safety switch, handling- it's just perfect. In terms of accuracy it should do just fine. I intent do purchase one in 6,5x55 with synthetic stock. What do you think?
I used to lean towards savage fcv but 26" barrel scared me. IMHO it's way too long. First of all, I will not shoot at more than 300yds (there are not so many such ranges in Europe). Secondly, as proven by the case of Steyr Scout, you can have pretty good accuracy at 300yds with 48cm barrel. So...
