Haven't logged in here in forever, even though I probably end up on threads researching stuff 12 times a day. I'm in the Navy and just got stationed in Guam....again. looking to tear down my Savage 12bvss and build into a 243 short barrel (18") when I'm home on leave stateside next hunting...- beefiness

Re: mcmillan stock finish I appologize for my bad grammer, was just looking for some info after being at work for 36 hours, we can't all be so priveleged to work on submarines. i suppose the phrase "grippy rubber" was a bad choice. i assume this is the hard gel coat finish.- beefiness

was curious about the finish on the mcmillan stocks. i have a mcmillan on my m1a supermatch with the molded in camo. it's finish feels almost like grippy rubber. my question is, are the a1-a5 stocks have the same finish, or is it more of the somewhat rough somewhat smooth like the b&c stock my...- beefiness

Re: To all the veterans on this board.... i know that they have wild pigs there, which is why i shipped the rack that goes into the receiver on the back of my jeep. i heard they have a problem with an overpopulation of brown tree snakes, might be fun with my 77/22.- beefiness
