There isn't anything wrong with quad rails....especially if you change your configuration regularly and most of your gear mounts via a qd mount for a pictinny rail....in fact it can make a lot of sense in many situations. I hardly think the preference of someone's hand guard makes them operator...

If you move the adjustment screw every couple hundred rounds it is a non issue.... Or what I do on occasion is put a few drops of Fireclean down the gas tube to soak every so often.... It seems to keep any carbon from sticking to the adjustment screw.....

You may want to consider the tungsten weights for the silent captured spring if you are still having an issue but with the LMOS carrier you may be gtg.. They are not on the webpage... You have to contact JP and ask for them.

6.8 spc II.... Very light recoil in an AR15 format.... Performance between it and the Grendel are negligible no matter what others say (review spc II ammo and ballistics between the 2 for yourself), the 6.8 has more industry support, more readily available parts, and more factory ammunition...
