    Suppressors Rimfire suppressor

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I've got a lot of shopping to do. Yeah, I want something tougher than aluminum. If I bend or dent a handguard, not a big deal. If I bend or dent a $500+ suppressor, I'm gonna be bummed.

Suppressors Does anyone have a YHM R45 suppressor?

Yeah, I saw that. I'm gonna go back and watch the stuff on AB suppressors. They have my interest. I'm gonna be in the market for another 5.56 suppressor within the next six months. Have you shot a YHM Fat Cat? If so, how does the AB compare? All I know is that its the best sounding 5.56 k...

    Suppressors Rimfire suppressor

I'm looking for a suppressor that I can use on my AR22 that isn't made with an aluminum tube. Any suggestions?

Suppressors Does anyone have a YHM R45 suppressor?

One more subscriber dude. Well, I was checking out silencer shop last night and the R9 was back in stock. Yeah, I grabbed one. The R45 is gonna have to wait till next month. Geez, I seriously have suppressors on the brain now.

Suppressors Does anyone have a YHM R45 suppressor?

Thanks guys. I think I'm gonna go for the R45 rather than the R9. I think it'll serve well for those guns that I dont shoot as often. Who knows? My 9mm PCC with the R45 may become my favorite toy. There's just so little info on this particular can. I found one fairly comprehensive review on it...

Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark 4HD non-illuminated vs illuminated TMR reticle

I have that scope onto my 16". Are you saying that the center dot on the illuminated model is larger because of a specification that you read or because it's what you observed looking through them both? As far as I could tell, they look the same to me. I think it's a great scope, but if I was...

    Seeing a 22lr in flight

Eley flat points are pretty easy to see, due to their color.

CZ 457 re-barrel options include chamber type, (bentz, match, nevius)

My advise would be to stop dumping money into your 457. Take your stock and all of the doodad add ons off your barreled action and sell your barreled action. If you're committed to the 457, get with someone like Desert Precision where you'll get either a threaded or thermal fitted barrel with...

CO witness vs Combat cut RMR

Unfortunately, the only way to know what will work for you will be to try them. Running around the house in your underwear and trying it out is wholly different from running drills on a timer and actually seeing which is faster.

    Suppressors Mount or direct thread?

I like the srx system, but I'm only using it because it came with my Fat Cat. I like it because it has a very small footprint and the mini muzzle brake eats up a minimal amount of the suppressors internal volume. Still, if I was choosing a mount ecosystem, I'd be looking at plan b. There are a...

CO witness vs Combat cut RMR

I'd go co-witness. When presenting from an awkward position and your presentation is less than perfect, that front sight is a pretty big help in finding the dot. Besides, as reliable as red dots are these days, they aren't immune to failure.

    Talk me out of it....

As far as glass goes, many arguments could be made for going with something other than a razor, but I dont think that a razor is ever the wrong choice. As far as the ammo goes, you need more. 760 rounds is 2, maybe 3 shooting trips.

Gunsmithing What exactly am I trying to clean from my barrel?

It kind of depends. If you shoot for the utmost in accuracy, you'll get some seriously opposing opinions on the subject. If you just want to keep up with thing, whenever you feel like it or you have accuracy issues. I shoot mostly ARs with chromelined barrels and they see thousands of rounds...

Suppressors Does anyone have a YHM R45 suppressor?

Hey all. I was considering getting a YHM R9 to use on my 5" 9mm PCC and 8" 300BO, but after watching a bunch of videos, it seems that everyone is saying that the R45 outperforms the R9 at everything, despite the oversized bore, and it's only an inch longer. I have a bunch of silencers to buy...

    Ultrasonic cleaners

I would suggest that you do some research on the effects of a long term soak using CLR. The downside to using it on the inside of the can only is that damage cannot be observed.

CCI Uppercut .22lr Jacketed Hollowpoints in 5.56 suppressor

I just ran across this ammo. Jacketed, not plated, .22lr ammo. Does this mean it's safe to shoot out of a non serviceable suppressor without worrying about leading? CCI Uppercut

    Ultrasonic cleaners

Man, it just looks like there's no short cut. Back when I shot a lot of uspsa open and had to clean comps and stuff on my supers, I used a concoction of 1 gallon of mineral spirits, 1 quart of motor oil and 1 quart of marvel mystery oil. Dump everything in, let it sit for an hour and come back...
