    Great posts, thank you. I took an Eotech off of an AR and put it on the SCAR 17. I shot 80 rounds and the Eotech is still functioning.

    I'm thinking a SCAR optic needs to be very rugged. So I'm wondering what the more experienced shooters think the most rugged scopes are. ACOG for sure, but what other scopes qualify as being very rugged?

    Agreed, the originals were great. I still have a set that's been on a Leopold 3.5-10 Vari-X 3 since I bought it about 20 years ago and they still work great..This is on a hunting rifle that spent 13 years in Alaska getting beat up on snowmachines and four wheelers..

    I'm going to rant some more about how much I love this rifle. To express how much I do, let me put it this way. If I could get reasonable prices for some of my other firearms (2 ARs, 2 AKs, a PTR 91, etc..), I would sell them all and get another SCAR 17 and a 16. Much like the other poster...

    Update: received replacement scope today. I got it mounted and went to the range. I'm really impressed with this scope for its price point..Also, SWFA really came through for me..

    I don't know why this scope isn't more popular. It has good glass, reticle and magnification range, all at a great price. The only thing it's really missing is zero stop and If it isn't being used for competition, this shouldn't be an issue. As far as I'm concerned, there isn't a better scope...
