    Rifle Scopes Near Manufacturing

Re: Near Manufacturing hey all, I heard from Richard today via e-mail. As I thought he has TRG bases in stock and can get one to me in 1-2 weeks. He asked for some detail regarding my set up before making a recommendation. I forwarded the info on to him, and am looking forward to his...

    Rifle Scopes Near Manufacturing

Re: Near Manufacturing Thanks for the advice and replies guys. I have heard nothing but great stuff about Richard's products from everyone. I have also been reading that Richard ships his stuff fairly quickly etc, so I'm surprised that it has taken this long. I really do think the disconnect...

    Rifle Scopes Near Manufacturing

Hey guys, Back in December I went to my local Cupertino gun store to get a base for my Sako TRG-42. I paid half down. Well since then all I've gotten is the run around from the shop. This is the list of excuses so far so far. 1. He takes awhile, could be a month to 6 weeks. 2. It was shipped...

    Sako TRG42 Hard to chamber

Re: Sako TRG42 Hard to chamber Update to this problem. Ok so last night I decide I'm gonna check this out again. I pay very close attention to how the rounds are stacking in the mag. Lo and behold they are "pigeon-toed"!!! The tips of the projectiles are "splayed" outwards towards the sides...

    Sako TRG42 Hard to chamber

Re: Sako TRG42 Hard to chamber Thanks Sarge!!! preciate it! I noticed that the feed ramp into the chamber seems to be very steep on this weapon. Guess I'll just have to man up, pull my skirt down, my panties up, and ram er home!

Hey all, I received a 4.5-14x44 Zeiss Conquest w/Rapid Z-800 reticle for X-mas. This is going to be put on my new TRG42 in .338LM. I know its a little under powered for the range of the gun, however finances, and the wife, say this scope is gonna live on this gun until next year. What think you...

    Sako TRG42 Hard to chamber

Re: Sako TRG42 Hard to chamber I put a little lubriplate on the bolt and action, wiped it clean, then another thin film and left it. Definitely helped smooth up the bolt, but still hard to chamber that first round. I agree franky, it is a military rifle, with a mil-spec magnum cartridge. I...

    Sako TRG42 Hard to chamber

Hey all I have a new TRG42 in .338LM. I have noticed that with a full mag the first round is very difficult to chamber. Like .50 tough. The next round is at least 50% easier, and from then on its as smooth as silk to chamber. Anybody else have this experience with their sticks???
