Thanks guys. I know I'm going to have to rebed because there was some modifications done to the stock and it will never be in 'new' condition again.

About this time last year I picked up and AICS 2.0 on the forum here. It was already bedded for a Surgeon 591 and I purchased it with the intention on rebedding it to my action. I've finally got the time to do the job, so I ordered some Devcon 10610 and picked up some Kiwi neutral shoe polish...

Re: Pelican They are pretty big. It weighs about 20ibs w/o a firearm, so that should give you an idea. They are very nice cases, just a bit much bulk for regular use.
