Re: second time at the range bench, with a harris bipod. i did shoot standing, at an old target somebody had left up, nothing worth taking a picture of, but i figure if shit hits the fan, i wont have a nice bench to shoot on.... thanks for checking it out.- ilsavage

Photos second time at the range
hey all, i took some pics of my groupings from this weekend. as some of you know this is my first rifle, its a savage 111 FC in .270 win. and this was my second time shooting a scoped gun... i have a long way to go. and i wanted to put 4 shots on one target, but i only had 3 left in the pack...- ilsavage

Re: introduction. i ended up picking up a harris bipod at cabelas. it doesnt have the notched legs which is a downside, but you can lock down the legs at any height. i believe it was $70. thing was easy as hell to install. took me less than a minute to put on, and its light as hell. can't...- ilsavage

Re: introduction. ive always wanted to get into it, and now that i have the resources.... around my parts you are lucky to find a 200 yard range... my buddy is a member at a club that has a 200 yard range that i will be shooting at in the near future.... im thinking about a picking up a...- ilsavage

hi everybody. I just picked up my first rifle this past week, i went with a savage model 111 in .270 win. and it came with a bushnell scope. http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/111FCXP3 i shot it for the first time this weekend and enjoyed it. i'm questioning how good this scope is...- ilsavage
