Re: New guy looking for cheap 308 build advice I would suggest checking out the EE over at AR-15.com. You can find some great deals on non-AR's. I picked up my very gently used Savage 10 FCP with HS Precision stock and Ken Farrell 20 MOA rail for $750 recently.- wnycollector

Rifle Scopes Help picking glass for my Tikka T3 Varmint
I'm looking for opinions on a new scope for my Tikka T3 Varmint 223. The rifle is going to be used for punching paper out to 300 yards 90% of the time with the occasional chuck hunt at a buddies parents dairy farm. Ran across a Shilen barrelled AR upper
I already have a very accurate 18" AR (RRA ATH) but recently I was perusing the wares at a small local gun show and I ran across a varmint upper with a new 20" Stainless Steel Shilen Service Rifle Contour Barrel in it.
