    CZ 455 Varmint Trainer / Anschutz 1416 T6 M

The ANA custom shop does batches of 1416s in Manners T6 stocks, I believe. May be worth contacting them to find out if any are currently available.

Rifle Scopes What the hell to do?

Ask him to double check his rings to be sure they're properly torqued. He could have gorilla torqued them causing the parallax adjustment to bind up. But the most likely cause is what everyone else has suggested, IMHO. Should be simple to resolve with a little instruction.

Well so I guess they really are bad.

29, I have learned a several things from this thread: 1. Remington's X-Mark Pro triggers are even worse than I had realized. 2. Even if it were possible to tune one to the desired level of performance, it wouldn't be worth the potential liability. 3. There are several morons on SH...

    Gunsmithing help with bedding problem

If you're shooting off of a bipod, this could be causing the issue. Try shooting the rifle off of sand bags up front with no load on the forearm and see if it helps. If so, relieve the barrel channel accordingly.

Social experiment; my wife's stupid fucking shoes

When you find the next pair you should epoxy them to the floor where they lay. Then video her slipping them on and trying to walk away so we can get a laugh too.

PAPAGALLOS and OGONZALEZ13 need your HELP!! DBM or Floorplate?

This with the APA bottom metal sounds like a perfect compromise. I have considered doing this to an AM myself, but switched hunting rifles instead. I'd bet you could get 3 in the magazine and still have it be very close to flush with the stock, if it was done right.

    22 lr beyond 100

Wow. 1000 yards? And here I was thinking 500 was pushing it. In my case, I barely had enough elevation in my set up for 500. I couldn't imagine what it would take for 1000. Maybe next weekend I can get back to the range to do some more thorough testing. Good shooting Irish. Now I...

Rifle Scopes 2014 Vortex New Products Announced

That's what I wound up doing. I don't suspect I'll regret it either. Who knows when the vipers will actually materialize.

    22 lr beyond 100

Yeah, that's about the same dope I was using (27.8 mils of drop with 2 mils of windage for 5 mph). I have no doubt that my wind reading skill was the limiting factor, but still wonder about the ammo. I have noticed that people seem to use wildly varying bc numbers for different bullets and am...

    22 lr beyond 100

While at the range today I decided to try my trusty 22 out on the long range steel targets. Using JBM ballistics I was able to reliably connect on the 300 yard steel (10"x 20" silhouette) using Wolf MT in a Marlin XT-22, but 400 yards was much less consistent with only about a 35% success rate...

Rifle Scopes Which rings do you run?

To echo what others have already said, I really like the Seekins 6/4 rings I have. I also run Burris Extreme Tactical, Leupold Mk 4 steel, and various other cheap brands on other rifles. Although I've never had a problem with any of them, I believe I'll stick with Seekins from here on out for my...

    B&C Varmint/Tactical Medalist Stock

I like my B&C A2. Not the most comfortable forearm in the world but nothing that can't be fixed with some tools, paint and a little time. Inletting for DBM with a Dremel is a royal PIA though. I wouldn't recommend it.

    What would you do?

x2 IMHO, your initial response was the correct one. I, too, am a father (4x over) and realized a long time ago that guiding and protecting my children also involves demonstrating (not just explaining) the values I hope to instill in them. Integrity, compassion, honesty, work ethic, the golden...

    Problems with Ruger American Rimfire

I have no experience with the Ruger American, but I had a similar experience with a Marlin xt-22vr early in the production of them. I never was told what the exact problem was, but I'm guessing it was either an out of spec receiver or barrel. I was told the same thing... They'd have to pull one...

Got a couple questions, CZ isn't grouping like it should..

There is a lot of good advise in this thread, but I have a couple of questions. Isn't the locking lug on the 455 on the bolt handle? How thick was the Cerakote applied? If the Cerakote was applied to both the bolt handle (locking lug) and the locking surface on the action, could that...

CLOSED: "Kasey is a beautiful and unique snowflake" Altas Bipod Give-A-Way

I am not entering the contest as I received a Christmas Present from Kasey last week. I had never even seen an Atlas in person so I was very curious what the big deal was with them. Now I get it and am very impressed. My previous bipod is a Harris S-BRM with a pod lock and while it is a very...

Printing your own stencils for camo painting

From what I read about that cutting machine, I don't think it would be ideal for your application. You can't make custom shapes with it, only what is available on the cartridges you have to purchase separately.

A poll - Is your weekly income more than $219.95 USD

I just opened the package from Kasey and WOW! I am speechless. Kasey had already won my respect for the way he handled the controversy surrounding the previous thread. But this... I can only offer my most sincere and deepest thank you to Kasey and everyone at B&T Industries. Merry Christmas.
