Range Report Bullet drop info needed

I've found an S&B 1.5-6x42 DMR scope which has 4.8 mils of elevation available once zeroed at 100yds. For my application, I would like to shoot out to 600yds & I'm not sure if the scope has sufficient elevation. Does anyone have real-world bullet drop info for 62gn RG (M855) from a 20" AR out to...

Rifle Scopes Looking for Leupold M2 advice

Re: Looking for Leupold M2 advice Without a zero stop you would not know which revolution the turret is on. There must be some way of keeping track of this, surely? The M1 turret has revolution 'markers' and the M3 has the zero stop.

Rifle Scopes Looking for Leupold M2 advice

guys, I'm looking at the Leupie MR/T 2.5-8x36 with M2 turrets. I've phoned Leupold who told me that this model does not have any zero stop on the elevation turret, nor does it have any indication of which revolution the elevation turret is at. But the rep didn't seem to be too sure. It would...

    Budget Precision Rifle Build Series

Re: Budget Precision Rifle Build Series Thanks Cegorach. I see that scope also has a greater elevation range, win/win! Unfortunately, Midway UK doesn't stock that scope. Midway USA will not sell to me, saying I should use Midway UK - even if the product is not sold in UK.

    Tikka T3 Sporter

Re: Tikka T3 Sporter I used to have a 595 Master Sporter which I always regeret selling, so I've more than a passing interest in this T3 Sporter. I contacted the UK importer - no dates for delivery yet, but RRP will be about £1600. This puts it in the same ballpark as a T3 Tactical & I know...

    Versa-Pod wobble

Re: Versa-Pod wobble You can drill & tap a hole in the pivot joint and insert a 'friction knob', this can be adjusted to stop the flopping around and prevent the weight of the rifle from tipping over the bipod.

Re: AICS specific question I handled an AICS today, and not only is the grip longer than the L96, its also more rounded. AICS for me! Thanks to those who replied.

    AICS specific question

Hey Guys, I need your advice. Is the pistol grip on an AICS any longer than an L96? I'm thinking about dropping my LTR into an AICS, and today I was fortunate enough to get behind an L96. Note how its straight from the bottom of the pistol grip to the butt. I found that the pistol grip was...

    precision rifles... show em

Re: precision rifles... show em Nearest thing I have to a precision rifle, until my PSS comes back from the shop. Its a fake 03A4. A number of 03A3 parts were found in the early 90's and Bremmer arms/Parker Hale built them into complete rifles. She was converted to 03A4 config a few years...
