    Suppressors TAB SAS Uber Failure

Re: TAB SAS Uber Failure WOW! 60 rounds, that's it. No mag dump or FA. It Failed. It's man made, and sometimes stuff fails and we get pissed. I vented & I feel better. After a $1000 investment to have a $60 oven glove fail, I got pissed. I see folks post about all kinds of bad experiences...

    Suppressors TAB SAS Uber Failure

Just wanted to pass on my report on the TAB Gear SAS. I purchased on from Rifles only to go on my AAC 72-SD. The fit and finish were nice and it appeared to be basically an oven mit for my suppresor. After taking it to the range today it melted...literally melted on my new AAC can. It left goo...

Rifle Scopes To SH Members, from Nightforce Optics

Re: To SH Members, from Nightforce Optics Love my NXS and glad to hear they are doing well. It's also refreshing to see them respond to their loyal customer base. That's the kind of thing that would encourage me to make another NF purchase on my next build.

    New Paint on my P308

Re: New Paint on my P308 Thanks. Krylon. I initially kicked around the idea of doing a digital camo, but wanted to see how this looked first, and I really like it. We'll see what happens. I also want to paint one of my 3 ARs, so I may go digital with it. Tim

    New Paint on my P308

Put some new paint to my P308. It came out pretty clean and I'm very happy with it. Nothing like DIY. Pics were taken with my ipod so they are a bit blurry. Enjoy. http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m597/timlemons64/P308001.jpg http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m597/timlemons64/P308007.jpg...

    AR-10/LR-308/etc dry firing woes......solved.

Re: AR-10/LR-308/etc dry firing woes......solved. I use the BCM Gunnfighter on my P308 and all 3 ARs. I prefer the larger latch(they have 3 sizes). Combined with a BAD makes dry fire easy and is a more efficient method of clearing malfunctions. Interesting thumb latch on the Tac-Ops.

    Burris P.E.P.R. Mount, any good?

Re: Burris P.E.P.R. Mount, any good? I have one on my POF P308 with a Burris XTR 3-12X50 and it is solid. No complaints. Durable, beefy construction, and handles lots of recoil with aplumb. Weighty, but so is th P308.

5000 meters+ Supersonic (*Updated with pics*)

Re: 5000 meters+ Supersonic Jules Verne wrote FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON in 1867 and Apollo 7 landed on the moon in 1969. Manned flight hadn't even been invented until 1903. It takes a dreamer and visionary to dream great things, and eventually someone makes it so...just sayin. Tim

Rifle Scopes How much magnification do you really need?

Re: How much magnification do you really need? You can get a Burris XTR in the same price range and its much better. I had the Nikon (sold it), and switched to the Burris for my P308. I also have a NightForce on my bolt gun. But for the price I'm uber happy with the Burris XTR and I'm smaking...

    Navy Seal Gear Wish List

Re: Navy Seal Gear Wish List As a defense industry guy I'm throwing the Bullshit flag...They can't (and more likely don't) give anything over $25 value to active duty(including meals). The NCO would have disclose this as a gratuity and decline it...totally illegal. Also, I don't see to many...

Re: My haul from the SWFA group buy 7 SWAFAs? There's a small fortune alone not to mention the investment in a great collection of sticks. Hope there was a buy 6 get one free deal. Nice! Obvious plans for future builds with the two spares. Post pics when you build the next addition.

    My First AR Build

Re: My First AR Build Don't forget a charging handle & BUIS. I like the gunfighter by BCM & Troy sights. Barrel dependent on application/preference. Nothing more than 18". Have fun, its always great to make your own build.
