    Ideas For Budget Savage 1000yrd Gun

    It would be cheaper and easier to build from scratch. But if you want a rifle thats shootable till all your parts come in to start modifying your gun, it will do. Im not a fan of that stock for prone shooting though.

    Im at 500+ rounds through mine with HP handloads and its never had a problem. I have never tried to induce a failure so I cannot comment on that one. I have been very happy with the XD-S .45 acp.

    The cdi comes with extra parts you will not use for the top bolt release, I am almost positive they are for the bottom bolt release. Call / e-mail CDI , I am almost certain you are good though.
