    After Action for Mammoth Match

I was excited to see a new Tactical match that was within driving distance...there aren't that many here on the East Coast. The lodging was nice and super convenient. The staff were very nice and the food was excellent. We started with a match brief from the Match Director. It was good...

    300 Norma mag...

I was putting together a list of things to build for the new year and was planning out a 300 Norma Mag build... I plan on using a Surgeon action... Question is...can this be done well in a long action with the appropriate bolt face or do I need to go with the XL action? Respectfully, --KJ

Piston Carbine by Arnold Dew of ADC...nice

I have an old friend that stopped by from NC on his way north to visit with family and he brought along a AR. OK...that's cool. He said he wanted me to shoot it and see what I thought. Today I went and shot it along with my trusty Colt 6920 (which is all decked out in it's new Magpul...

    Suppressors Glock grip angle...

I shoot a Sig P229 in .357 at work and run a similar P229 in .40 at some competitions. Now for the 3Gun stuff I use a G35 in .40 or .357Sig...the problem is I hammer with my Sigs...love that gun...but it doesn't have the mag capacity to be competitive in 3gun...hence the G35. The problem I...

    Rifle Scopes Schmidt & Bender...thanks

Just mounted and sighted in a couple new S&B's yesterday...might have been the easiest and fastest zeroing process I've ever done. First was a 5-25 PMII. That glass is crazy...I bet that's how the Lord sees stuff. So bright and so clear. To float the knobs and have the the stops be where...

Gunsmithing Badger magazines and WSM cartridges?

Ok so what do I do and how do I get my fat short mag cartridges to reliably feed out of my Badger DBM mags. I have AI mags and it seems like the rounds sit low. Is it as simple as opening the feed lips a certain distance? I know some of you guys are at least using the 7WSM in repeaters...

New rifle courtesy of Terry Cross at KMW

Just got this in yesterday. All of my rifles besides my .308 have 28" bbls. I use the longer bbls to get the most velocity out of my 6mm and 6.5mm however it comes at a cost. I cant run a can on it otherwise I would be running around 34" which is not good for the bus drill...lol So I looked...

the saga continues with my GAP built 6.5 Creedmoor

It's a week out from the Hide Cup and I figure I should finally clean that new 6.5 Creedmoor barrel that Moon twisted up right before the last Bash. This barrel had under 300 rounds through it and it was a hammer...no break in no cleaning for any of those shots. Cleaning began and ended rather...
