I own a prominar 883 and a prominar 664. The 664 is taken hunting. The scope is brite and clear and has the 20-60x eyepiece. Kowa scopes are great equiptment. You can buy cheaper but you will get less quality.

I'm thiking about buying a VX-7 3.5-14X50 for hunting (Boone & Crockett reticle) . I see that these scopes are discontinued. Is there any negatives to buying this scope (problems). They are discounted and fit the power range i'm looking for.
