Re: multi-tool Have a SOG in my BOB, carry a small letterman for the scissors, a folder & a small pen like screw driver. Prefer to have smaller version that mostly do one function, they seem to last longer & be better built.

Re: Cleaning the bore Agreed on using the bore snake while @ range or done shooting. Can remember which brand of rod I use but have been debating about upgrading to the KG rods.

Re: shooting mats Love the Midway mats, ordered a couple for Appleseed, but my only compliant is the shipping costs on anything from Midway. I generally try to wait until I have a list of a couple of items so I don't feel as bad when I see the shipping costs. The mats worked great!
