Erblestock Mainframe replacement waist belt
Not sure what your mission is but I highly recommend ditching the Eberlestock. They don't handle weight well and will make a long trip miserable!! Exo Mtn Gear for the win. Stone Glacier would be number 2....just my .02- jmp1

So whats you plan, for when the grid an/or net drops?
I have the Mini from Roamsat......self contained with its own battery. Works pretty good. Not secure or discreet for shtf stuff....but good comms in rural areas. Tress above it really hamper reception.- jmp1

Buying a plane after retirement
A lot of truth here. I was fortunate to have an in so to speak. My instructor was a fire tanker pilot who also flies warbirds for a museum. No bullshit kind of a guy that taught me a ton of lessons you won't get from a 20 something 250 hr CFI. I really believe the industry is suffering from...- jmp1
