I got out this weekend and shot my new Savage 10FCP. Shot both 168 SMK's and 185 Breger VLD's behind 46.5gr of 2000MR. I perfomed a ladder test for both rounds after breaking in the barrel. 46.5 to 48gr looks good for the 168's. The 185's looked good at 47.5 to 49.5gr. I saw no pressure signs...

I am new to tactical shooting and am wondering if people clean their rifles during a match between stages. I dont like the thought of not cleaning when firing 50 or so rounds during the day.

I get tired of having to check the cleaner after each 8 minute (480 sec) run. Has anyone modified the timer or disconnected it so that another timer could be used at the cord end?

For those nurning neck and bumping shoulders instead of full length sizing, buy some Cerrosafe and cast a plug of your chamber and take measurements per the instructions. It is not hard to use and revealed alot about my chamber.

I have a Eberlestock backpack for hunting that allows me to carry the gun in a sleave thats attached to the backpack. I this allowed during competition when going from stage to stage. I registered for the Sniper Cup in Douglas and have never shot in any competition shoots other than Trap shooting.
