    New scope cap introduction

One of the challenges i see is when they are open they sit above the scope bell, the main reason lots of butlers and others get broke is pushing the rifle thru a barricade and smacking the scope cover... one idea would be to make it easily detachable when that sitation is going to present...

    Suppressors Cleaning a suppressor.

I've only cleaned it twice in 7000(ish) rounds but what I do is I cut a piece of PVC 2" longer than my can, put an end cap on one end, put the can in and fill it with near-boiling water and some lemi-shine and cap the other end. It sits for a day and when I remember i walk over and give it a...

If you work in the IT field this shouldn't be a foreign concept at all and the fact that the mfgr is here answering questions and updating regularly should be an indicator to you that it is indeed a solid product and your apprehension should be replaced with relief and confidence. Microsoft...

Range Report Applied Ballistics Kestrel; Pro staff support thread

I applied the recent update which removed all my gun profiles. I used the newest ABLoader to push 1 profile to the kestrel and it worked perfectly. Now when I go to add a 2nd profile, or even re-push the first one I get an error about 1/2 a thru transmission that staues "Could not transmit...

Gunsmithing Mag Lips getting caught in bolt flutes

I'll take one later - i just literally knocked off the edged with a file and hit it with a buffing wheel - cosmetically it doesn't look much differently but the sharp edges don't catch on the lips anymore.

Gunsmithing Mag Lips getting caught in bolt flutes

Many of us have the same problem - i found that a file to the sharp edges on the flutes fixed it for me. Now when there is contact 99% of the time it just rolls over vs. getting caught on the lip and bending the mag. It is the super-sharp edged on those bolts that rips up the mags when there...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

Can you explain what you mean by this a little more. If a stage has maximum 5 rounds and a 45 second par time are you saying 2 points if you finish within 35 seconds. Another shooter would keep shooting past 45 seconds and complete the stage regardless of time expiring or is this something...

    Powder thrower

Best answer yet - take 8208 for example, works great with a manual thrower, with a progressive charge bar, etc.... take Varget and you will get less consistent charges based on how the kernels fall and geometrically take up space. 7828 SSC is better in a thrower but not as good as 8208. It's...

    Greetings from Denton, Texas

Brock - I live over in Frisco. Here are some things that I'd recommend or at least things that I like to see at a range 1 - good parking. There are some ranges around that have you park in the grass or the dirt - after a heavy rainstorm (especially around here) the range is either closed or...

    Magneto Speed Help

did you shoot thru another chrono to see if the speeds are the same - with that charge it should be faster but check thru another chrono first before you look to much at the magneto just in case you have something else going on.

Which bubble level is right for me? (List of available parts and issues with each inside)

I run Jason's brake, TLD and used that bubble level for him at a match recently to see how it functioned. His products are great quality - you won't be disappointed with its quality and I think you would be pleased with the function. Never had bubble separation under recoil and the fact it...

Which bubble level is right for me? (List of available parts and issues with each inside)

Here are the two JEC customs level; one on the TLD w/ the 45º mount and the other low-profile swing-out level. I mounted them both so you can see them side by side. The new swing-out level is perfect for weak-eye viewing and if needed tucks out of the way when working barricades. It has a...
