Thinking of giving this barrel a try. Seems like a decent price for a spun Bartlein barrel to drop in. Anyone try one, or own a complete Nemo with this barrel? Thanks. Link
I’d just call Zev. They’d probably send you some. Zev bought out mega. All the products are made by “mega” just rebranded. There’s photos MML receiver sets branded ZEV floating the net. It probably won’t be long before they hit the market.
Is there a rep on this site I could be put in contact with? I called Bushnell and was told to send an e-mail to [email protected]. I have sent 3 e-mails over the past couple weeks with no response. Any help would be appreciated.
When I first got interested in long range shooting, I lusted after an AI. I started with a R700 ACC-SD that eventually was put in an AICS. The gun is a shooter, but it isn't the AI I always wanted. I eventually picked up a 6.5CM MKIII at a price that even someone who hated AI's would have...
I'm not trying to get into a pissing match at all. You said for "not much more." I guesstimated $1,240 for only the AAC-SD and KRG stock. With optic he is probably about $4,250. If your custom Surgeon build with a similar optic is only $300 more, you're getting a hell of deal and he should...
I think he would be hard pressed to find a custom barreled action for $650. I wouldn't discount the AAC-SD. It may be a bit of a gamble depending on what day it was built, but my stock ACC-SD barreled action in an AICS shoots .5 MOA or better. If he is looking at the X-ray chassis ($590) and...
With those parts, I wouldn't exactly call that a budget a build. You'll be more than good to go with that setup. My only critique is the bolt knob (personal preference). I'm sure the KRG is a great option for people truly on a budget, but if you're going to be spending around $4,000 on a...
Grab a few extra pieces of brass and rub them all over the scope. Instead of taking $100 off for the brass marks on the windage knob, charge an extra $150 for the custom coated optic.
I tend to follow the "buy once cry once" saying when funds allow. If you're planning on getting an AI or GAP down the road, why not just get it now if it's in the budget? I don't see the point in spending $600-$1,000 on a R700 with the intentions of replacing it. You mention being "a long way...
I had an option of 24" and 26" when I purchased mine. I went with 24" and I'm more than happy. To be honest, I wouldn't want it any longer. That's based solely on personal presence, though.
