Night Vision Picatinny adapter to flat for external battery

Exactly what I’ve been looking for. Thanks so much. Also been having luck with the cheap quick connect scope rings and the 5k round batteries. Hope you guys are well don’t get on much anymore.

    Night Vision Binocular Bridge Systems

I do but it didn’t work with my Reap so it’s dead weight now. Probably run perfect on a 14 or a Nox. If somebody needs or wants one I’ve got a pristine black one with two j arms or whatever they call them. 14 and Nox would both work on a Wilcox I think.

Night Vision Nox 18 unboxing and first thoughts

A highly addictive street drug - albeit an alternate spelling. Wig is right too though. Who knew so many nucs. https://robocop.fandom.com/wiki/Nuke And yes I’m about that old and that funny. Keep nuc’ing my friends.

Night Vision Nox 18 unboxing and first thoughts

I nuc a bunch. Like everybody else the first part of the night. Every time I change a setting. Every time I think the image is degrading. Every time I feel that there has been some sort of weather shift like drop in temp or an increase in wind. Probably eats more battery but it’s not like it...

Thanks for that explanation Max. But flipping it around eliminates the weapon mount to be used too doesnt it? I’ve been wondering since my first post. I thought it said if you flip the dove tail around you can’t use the weapon mount on that side. Ie Im left eye dominant and have always heard...

Thanks wig. Kind of misspoke there about why would anybody do this. Just meant that it felt unnatural for lack of a better word. There was a big difference from sitting around to moving around. And the visual of looking through a square and round hole at the same time is kind of wonky. But I...

So fellow Noxers and Noxees to be I intended to weapon mount my guy tonight and wasted too much time on trouble shooting my AR10 and running trails and feeders. Anyways it got dark and I had the 14 and the Nox with with me so I figured what the hell let’s do this. Now for those of you that...

I’ve got a fresh 24 pack of hand warmers and some free time tomorrow so hoping to try it out with a few rifles. I assume it should hold zero over all the zoom ranges? I’ve always wondered about this and thermals. I never usually shoot over 1x or 2x. I think I’d still like some sort of riser so...

Night Vision Nox 18 vs 35... Max? Anyone else?

Shooting with thermal only is an educated game. Reason I moved on from Flir to Pulsar to Trijicon to NVision. All of the animals have their specific movements. The more you practice and train and learn and practice the better you get. You may never be able to tell a dog from a coyote but that’s...

Night Vision Nox 18 vs 35... Max? Anyone else?

I went with the 18 because of the 1x and to try and pair with a 14 without different magnification when in dual use. After using the 18 the 2x zoom is actually quite useful so keep that in mind too. @SkyScrapin is right though. Once you get so far you need a lot of mag for PID. The size and...

Interesting you guys mentioning the pictures of construction. I almost took a picture of my metal barn. The image was shocking to say the least. Looked like full high def black and white 4K picture. Could see the seams in the metal and every individual screw and obviously windows and doors but...

This is the next project after I sight it in. I’m so hoping I can get it to work too. Thoughts of the thermal with 14 and light saber abilities of the Perst4 gets me a little giddy. But I’m a helmet newb and still trying to get it all sorted out. Seems to work ok the patio but I have yet to...

Night Vision Nox 18 unboxing and first thoughts

The first night was about 30* and sleeting and virtually no temp change. The second was windy 35ish and had about 15-20 degrees temp change in the day. Like I said I may have the settings a little high resulting in poor pictures. Was honestly in my pajamas and freezing both nights so I only...

It’s not too bad. It seemed like there were two files. One was a screen grab (didn’t explore) and the other kind of opens a library and you can choose which pictures to save in I think bng or jpeg format. I didn’t experiment too much but I was up and running in less than five. Hide wouldn’t let...

Nuc on Nox is super fast. Just a quick push of the power button which is far enough from the other buttons you can’t mess it up. Do wish there was a shutter though. Glad to hear about this software. I’ll try and get set up on it and download some pictures. Taking pictures is cake too once you...
