    338 rum throat length?

I have a build finally coming together for a 338 rum. I'm going to run the 338 berger 300 and my mag is 3.750. I figure I want my oal around 3.71 for feeding but I can't seem to get a definite answer as to what length the dummy rounds I need to send my smith for throating. I was hoping some of...

Rifle Scopes Steiner 3-15x 50? Looking for first hand knowledge

I was a little vague. Looking to run it in local tactical matches on my 260. What I'm looking for is whether the build quality is on par or better than the 5-25. I like the fact that there is almost no tunneling on the lower magnification and I assume would be the same on 3-15 given it has the...

Rifle Scopes Steiner 3-15x 50? Looking for first hand knowledge

I have the 5-25 and am really happy with it, just wondering if anyone has had a chance to run the 3-15, I searched the hide and the internets and didn't come up with much. John

Rifle Scopes Steiner 5-25 vs. Kahles 624i

I have the Steiner5-25 and the eye relief is good for heavy recoil and only slightly more sensitive at higher magnification. Eye alignment could be problematic without a solid cheek weld but has only been a problem for others shooting my rifle and is properly set up for me though I don't find...

Rifle Scopes Whats the input on a Steiner 5-25 and what reticle choice?

I have one but haven't mounted it yet, the only thing that bothers me about it is the turret detents on the elevation turret aren't as tactile or loud as I would like. The msr reticle looks awesome and is perfect for what I want it for. The illumination is well done very little bleed cross...

Getting rid of static on my Chargemaster

If you have your cord wrapped up that too will cause issues, when im throwing varget with my chargemaster i keep a dryer sheet handy and wipe about every 20 charges. Seems to do the trick. Also flourescent lighting seems to make digital scale wander. John

    Savage Target Actions??

Re: Savage Target Actions?? I have a target action that I just slapped a 6mmbr criterion barrel on last year and it hammers with 75 and 105 hornadys. Makes squirrels go poof. My only problem with it is slamming the bolt home and the sear occasionally hangs up, I still have the accutrigger on...

Re: sign in problems I currently cannot sign in from my laptop and only my phone. I tried logging out on my phone then logging in on the laptop. Resetting my password. Not sure why maybe some one can shine a light on how I could fix it. No problems logging into other forums I belong to from...

Member Link Up Any LR Shooters in CA - NorCal Area

Re: Any LR Shooters in CA - NorCal Area John here, new to the hide new to long range shooting. I've been varminting for the last couple of years and only shoot out to about 500yds (limited by the accuracy of my firearms). As far as hunting goes I've been doing that since I was eligable. I'm...
