Reloading supplies and data for .375 Cheytac

Re: Reloading supplies and data for .375 Cheytac The RCBS shell holder is number #47. As Excaliber stated, its the same one used as for the 505 Gibbs. As well as the RCBS large capacity case trimmer, I believe that Forster also makes a case trimmer as well as collets and pilots for the...

    .375 Cheytac questions

Re: .375 Cheytac questions PeterWilson, Can I ask what makes you think that Berger are going to come to the party with a 375 Cal projectile? At this point in time, they offer nothing above 30 cal and that includes 338. Given the current worldwide popularity of the 338 over the top of the...

    .375 Cheytac questions

Re: .375 Cheytac questions What about ther Cutting Edge Bullets in 375 Cal. There are a variety of bullet weights available from 300gr up to 400gr being stabilised in tubes ranging from 1:13 down to 1:8.5. There seems to be a moderate amount of success with these projectiles in the 350gr...

    300gr Accubonds in 375 Cheytac

Re: 300gr Accubonds in 375 Cheytac Ok, here's the update. Load developed the 300gr Accubonds at 430yds starting with 134 grains Ar2225 up to 139 grains. No pressure signs and the best was the 138 grain load. Average velocity was 3373fps, ES=16, SD=8. Best 5 shot group went into 1.63". All...

    300gr Accubonds in 375 Cheytac

Does anybody have any load data or test results using the Nosler 300gr Accubonds in the 375CT? I have been using the 260's and thought the 300's might be a little better. With the 260's, I'm using 138 grains of AR2225 (Retumbo) for 3520fps with a 10 thou jump. This has been a fairly good load...

    Rangefinder recommendation needed

Re: Rangefinder recommendation needed I think its pretty hard to go past the Swaro LG. Accurate, small, user frendly and great optics. Price is fairly reasonable too for the quality.

    Seating Depth - 375 Cheytac

Re: Seating Depth - 375 Cheytac Thanks again steve123. I did hear that testing and development should not be conducted at anything less than 300 or 400yds. I think that I just find it hard to comprehend how a load can shoot a nice group out further but be woeful in closer? Physics at it best...

    Seating Depth - 375 Cheytac

Re: Seating Depth - 375 Cheytac Thanks for the info steve123. I have been doing some experimenting with seating depth but have had mixed success with nothing really being particularly consistent. Was only putting the question out there to try and save a bit of time and heart ache. Load...

    Seating Depth - 375 Cheytac

Just a question regarding loads for the 375 Cheytac. Plenty of info through the forums but couldn't find a great deal regarding seating depth of differing projectiles. There's a lot of info on the SMK's, but I'm currently loading 350gr solid VLD's and have had mixed reports about bullet jump...
