I got this sling the other day & toyed around w. it a bit today & I must say it sure is gonna he'p steady my aim in prone & sitting--nice. Only thing is, does anyone have any ideas where I could get a set of sling keepers? I know Turner Saddlery sells leather ones, but I'm wondering if they...- Ya know

Parkerized Sling Swivels vs Blued
Anyone have any recommendations on Parkerized sling swivels? I got this web sling the other day from Creedmoor & it has a flat 1 1/4" QD spring clip to attach to the butt swivel. I figure it'd rub the blue off a reg. swivel in no time. Isn't Parkerized supposed to have a more durable finish?- Ya know

Anyone have ideas/plans for wood tripod benchrest
Toying w. the idea of bldg. an adjustable wood tripod 'rest w.o. windage. I saw one the other day & it rcvd favorable replies & I must say he did a good job w. it, but it looked lightweight. Well, I figure I can whip that problem & still have the thing be a "looker". It'd be basic & simple, but...- Ya know

Does anyone use pillow or brick bags atop tripod
Lots of br shooters are recomending owl ear front 'rest bags. What about pillow or brick bags? Anyone useing them? If so, can you tell me the good & the bad? Am I giving up quite a bit in accuracy? Thanx.- Ya know

Re: Hart vs Sinclair Benchrest Thanx jbell. I've 5 rifles, .22s thru 30-06, 4 of which I've owned for over 30 yrs. Never zeroed any of 'em in & just got a twitch to get back into shooting. I tested myself as best I could as a teen w. a .22 w. no equip. at all. I'll prbly not shoot...- Ya know

Front/Rear Bags For Benchrest
May get either a Hart or Sinclair std. flat-top br w.o. windage adjustment for shooting my narrow forend .22s - 30-06 sporters. I'm thinking the narrow owl ear front bags would be more for a top w. windage & that maybe a wider front bag, or maybe even a brick or pillow bag, would make it easier...- Ya know

Hart vs Sinclair Benchrest
Any opinions on which might be the better, Sinclair or Hart? Lots of good posts on the Sinclair, but I'm not really sure I prefer the All-Purpose better than their flat-top rest. Just seems like that All-Purpose would leave you kinda stuck if you didn't like it. But, if I can get as good or...- Ya know

I see a bunch of these on the 'net, but not sure of their quality. Can anyone recomend one or one to avoid? Wanna share it btwn a couple of .22s to improve accuracy.
