This cartridge looks great. George thank you for taking time to tell me about the 6.5 SAUM at shot show. Getting brass ready to go is fantastic. Now back to getting all the parts I need to send to George to get my 6.5 SAUM built.
Ok I have purchased a FNH SPR action and I ordered a stock from McMillan last week. I will be shipping the action to George soon for another great build. The specs will be almost exactly the same as the Extreme Hunter in 6.5 SAUM 4S but I will be using a McMillan HTG and PTG trigger guard. I...
Thanks. Yeah I have not seen a hide like this before. It will be great once I get it tanned. At the farm they told me they had a full albino before. Unfortunately he got hit a few years ago. I am very happy to have this one.
Hello Everyone, Just thought I would share some pics from my last hunt at a friend's Family Farm on the Eastern in MD. The spike is the one I took this year. I am going to have the hide processed as I have not seen anything like this.
Yes I believe it is the best decision I could make as well. I miss the GAP rifle I used to own below in 6.5x284. I never would have sold it but times got tuff when I was between jobs. <a href="http://s216.photobucket.com/user/Jackson-Charvelfan/media/PC260001.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img...

Re: Win 70 Laredo in 300 Win MAg I did a quick search and found CDI: http://www.cdiprecisiongunworks.com/winchester_long_action.html Winchester also made a factory DBM for longactions as well but the mags are not made anymore.
Re: Winchester pre-'64 action...is it THAT special??? Yes Winchester M70 Classic and the FN SPR are all that. FN SPR is what I had GAP build my 6.5x284 Norma. Yes the Winchester M70 243 depending on the parts used and the builder can be worth $900.00 or even more.
Re: Winchester Mod 70 in .270win Take it out and shoot it. The spec on these rifles from Winchester is a 1.6" group. 1.6 is the max that a Winchester M70 can shoot and still go out the door. I am not sure of the age of your rifle but you can check with Winchester 1-800-322-4626 and see if it...
