Re: Form 4 wait time Just did a Form 1 for a POF SBR 1/4/12. Waiting until dealer gets back from Shot Show to do form 4 on a TiRant 45. 5 months, yay.

Re: Surefire 762 MINI Surefire makes an AK adapter in 14x1 called the FH762K02, which I've read is compatible with the mini and micro models. You may want to do your own research though.

Re: FN SCAR? go or no go? I think the SCAR-L is extremely overpriced. Compared to how much most ARs cost. I bought an ACR basic for 1300. Thats money saved that you can spend on other things.

Re: AR vs Shottie for Home Defense IMHO, the best defense weapon is the one that you have/is most easily accessible. Ideally though, I would opt for any of my handguns, particularly my .45 automatics. Inside of the house, depending on the terrain, using a long gun might not be as appropriate...
