Re: 22lr pistol host suggestions P22, MkIII 22/45 factory threaded, M&P 22 are all great hosts (and all come with prethreaded barrels). The P22 and M&P use the same thread adapter (Walther barrels).

Re: Anybody using the Huntertown Guardian 22? I use (and sell) Guardians and Kestrels. They are great and cheap (price not quality). Hosted on P22, 22/45, 10/22, and Savage bolt. Sounds great on all of them.

Re: 22 can? FRP = First Round Pop The first shot though a "dry" sparrow is a little louder/sharper than subsequent shots. There is more combustible oxygen on that first shot. A quick spray of water out of a nasal spray bottle before the first shot makes it go away.

Re: Mirage covers Bowers Griptastics on all of my rifle cans (22, 556, 30cal). Put it on once and forget about it. Had no mirage at a shoot last weekend, ambient 95 and in the sun for 8 hours. Sold several cans to fellow shooters and every one of them ordered a Griptastic to go with it...
