    Made the die with a grinder and a bowling ball,couple of pieces of leather in between as a buffer. not sure of the tonnage on the jack, just a cheapie from the auto parts store.

    domed all the buckles with a cup/ball type die and a hydraulic jack, buckles are 1018 cold roll steel 1/8" thick.

    Never thought of the 22-204, def a contender. Barrel in question is a 9 twist kreiger. thinking about pushing the 53 grain tsx 3500 ish. thanks guys.

    yes on the AI, have a couple, just like to fool with different chamberings, and I like the long neck on the magnum.

    Another CZ 455 project complete

    Czs' really are pretty tough to beat. I have had 54 actioned annies and what not, and my 452 will hang with most of them, all for $350 bucks. Very nice build sir.

    Gunsmithing AI 223 Magazine delima

    I had a couple soft ones too, wore out in short order. I went with Wyatts on the next build , and after a little polishing of the steel mags, they feed great and seem pretty bomb proof, YMMV.

    Finally got it put together. doing a wood stock is a PITA. Smithing was done by Performance Rifles out of Idaho. Here is some pics.

    Sako Rifles - Custom Barrel?

    They are worth it, my sako 75 in 17 rem is super accurate, and love the factory det. mags. Also have an old L461 with a heavy .223 barrel, really good shooter. Probably not a good action for say a .223 AI I wouldnt think though, prob have issues with seating depth, the sako small actions are...

    Die suggestions for newbie reloader...for 308 match

    I would get a Redding FL die and a redding comp. seating die and call it a day. Simple, and you can load superbly accurate loads with this set up.
