Stick with dry media or wet tumbler

Do any wet of you guys that wet tumble just leave the brass out to air dry? Every time I consider going to wet tumbling, it just seems like more work than dry media. Granted, I don't care how shiny my brass is, and I do believe carbon on the necks is a benefit for seating.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son

What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray...

    Site Changes Coming Monday!

I think it would be easier/faster to put the tags at the top of the forum instead of having to hit the drop down, click on the subject, then click filter. The new format is definitely not as user friendly on mobile devices.

Dillon 550C -> do I just order it from Dillon and wait in line?

I could be wrong, but I think most dealers just drop ship Dillon stuff. I like the Dillon Strongmount and bin setup for my 550 vs the Inline Fabrication setup. They've got it pretty well figured out with regards to ergonomics and workflow. No knock on Inline as I like their products as well.

Howa 1500 tac knob installs, the 5x way.

Really cool process! One thing I didn't understand is how the "platter" indexed on the handle?

Reloading Equipment WTB custom metal reloading tray

Yeah, they are a wild deal, especially if you buy enough to get the free shipping. I have a mill and I'm not going to spend the money to buy the material and hours to make them for this price. He did a good job of sizing the holes to the cases. They aren't as refined as an Area 419 or the like...

Reloading Equipment Just picked up a Dillon 550

I actually have one.....$30 plus actual shipping? I mounted a Redding press in a Strong Mount long before Inline Fabrication was around. Like a week ago I made an Akro Bin setup that works better for that press. It is a worthy upgrade for the 550, which is why I originally bought it to try with...

Bryan Blake and his 200-19X F-Class Performance

Bryan Blake is kicking ass lately. That neck turner is quite the machine. Orkan, what is the base plate dimension of your CPS and the mounting bolt hole spacing? I thought I would be able to find it on your website, but no luck.

    F T/R Competition Which bullet...for F-TR in 308?

I think a lot of top competitors are running "short actions" for weight reasons. As crazy as it sounds, some guys barely make weight with their guns. The custom F-class style actions are generally bigger dimensionally than a standard R700, so taking away length adds the ability to beef up the...

    F T/R Competition Which bullet...for F-TR in 308?

I'm trying to get geared up for FTR with a Savage FTR with the 1:13 twist. I'm going with the 155.5 Fullbores. My local clubs only have 500yd ranges, the 155.5's are easy to find, they work well in short chambers, and they are pretty forgiving. Once the barrel smokes out, I'll going to the...

    Maximum neck turning bling!

$1,800 if you can turn the handle. Seems pricey on the surface, but there's a lot of design/manufacturer time and materials in that unit. In the days of $1,000 powder scales, $1,200 presses, $600 case trimmers, it's not out of line for the quality and time savings. Keep in mind, this machine is...

Am I the only one with a Meh attitude on Black Friday this year?

Thanks, but unfortunately they don't have most of what I was hoping to buy.

Am I the only one with a Meh attitude on Black Friday this year?

Apparently Inline Fabrication isn't doing a sale this year. That was the one I was hoping for. Oh well.
