Re: Muzzel Break for .300 WM ideas 4 least recoil I have the APA LB on a Rem 700 5r .300wm. It is a pleasure to shoot. Ear plugs are 100% necessary though.

Re: What rings for NF NXS 50MM on a Savage? I would look hard at the new APA rings. They will be on my next rifle for sure. Clever design and look great. I wouldn't worry about the price of the rings when they are holding a scope worth nearly 2 grand. I would get top quality for sure.
Re: 1800yd with 300wm By reading the posts I think I will order some of the amaxes and the heavier bergers if I dont have any luck with my current load.
I just found a place to set up a steel target at 1800 yds. I shoot 190 bergers out of my 300wm at 2850. My ballistics chart says that my velocity will be 960 at the target. Is there any chance at hitting a 24x24 consistantly? I have previously shot the same rifle out to 1100 yds with no problem...
Re: Smith and wesson 1911s? I owned one and I would say it is comparble to most other 1911s in the same price range. I never had any problems out of mine and shot around 500 rounds through it. Would have never sold it if I didn't need the money at the time.
