I run the 129ablr in my 12.5" with H4895 and get ~2220fps. That equates to 1683fps at 400yds and 811#ke according to shooter ballistic app.

Curious to see your results on how yhe factory ammo groups. I used to have a 22 grendel and sold it out of necessity at the time. Thinking it might be time to get back into one. It would be great to not have to do all the brass prep and handload again.

Another vote for Nosler 129gn ABLR's. With their expansion threshold at 1300fps, that puts them out past 500yds when starting from my 12" at 2,220fps. Shooter app predicts them to be moving 1,580fps at 500yds. I still need to confirm drop at 500 to true up my dope, but thats plenty far enough...

69 SMK has a tougher / thicker jacket than the TMK. What I did to make them violently upset, was bought a $12 needle drill set on Amazon and found the bit that shaved just a smidge off the ID of the hollowpoint to thin it up. This in theory, should aid in faster bullet upset and better...

Set up the dies to FL size and bump the shoulder about 1.5thou. The nice thing about an Ackley is that the brass hardly grows at all. What bullet are you planning to shoot and powders? That 7tw will do a lot of work with the heavies.

Yep. H4895 does well with the 129ablr in my grendel. 2279fps from my 18" still has it doing 1500fps at 600yds in my AO @ a DA of 2550. Thats still 200fps above its expansion threshold of 1300fps.
