    Yep, the VW disease is real. Well over 25k into this one over the years and probably couldn’t sell it for 12k. LOL With the recent engine updates it should run low 14’s in the quarter…we shall see this spring. Not bad for a N/A street bug. Engine goes in tomorrow!

    The kid and I hit the iconic Moab Slickrock loop yesterday and several trails at Navajo Rocks today before heading home. Crazy good views but smoke rolled in from a fire in northern Utah. So much fun! I originally rode the Slickrock trail back in 1992 on my old Gary Fischer CR-7….good memories...

    We have that same problem on our trails…..dirt turns to peanut butter when it rains. Maybe not to the extent you experience, but you simply don’t ride if it’s wet. I narrowly escaped rain this morning. Made for an awesome photo as it moved across the valley just before sunrise.

    Need to keep this thread going with some early morning ride photos. Out before work to beat the heat and finding I need to mount my light as sunrise is getting later and later. Spectacular sunrises over the past several days, but a LOT of smoke today courtesy of the PNW and Western Canada fires.
