    Rock River LAR-8

I had one, it was an absolute tack driver. Seriously one of the most accurate rifles I've owned, 1/4 MOA at 100 yards with 168 grn Hornady AMAX TAP. Sent the rifle back to RRA, they threaded the barrel for me, when I got it back it was still a beauty but putting the suppressore on it went to...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Picked up a Glock 42

I got one after shooting a co-workers. Outstanding little pistol, it is my running/biking carry gun. I have about 600 rounds thru it now, no malfunctions and surprisingly accurate. I have shot the M84 quite a bit, I'll take the Glock over it in a heartbeat. YMMV.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why you DON'T like Glock.

The ability to re-holster while maintaining eyes on a subject when transitioning from lethal to less lethal is a very valid point for law enforcement. And I love my Glocks. All six of them.

    Confused with zero @ 100

Sterling, hundred yard zero, POF P308 Hornady 168 AMAX TAP Nightforce NXS 3.5-15: 25 yards -2.5in 50 yards -1.5in 75 yards -.5 in 100 yards 0 125 yards -.25 in Continues neg from there. Trajectory and line of sight intersect at 100 yards. Bullet does not cross line of sight more than once...

    Confused with zero @ 100

No. Your ability to understand it apparently is though. So you believe the round will cross the line of sight two times regardless of what your zero distance is? Get to google-ing.

    Confused with zero @ 100

Google some Bullet Drop Charts. I'm not screwing with you, but if you set point of aim/point of impact at the top of the trajectory, you have a zero with a lower impact on either side of the zero.

    Confused with zero @ 100

Depends on the distance you have the weapon zero'ed at. Sometimes only intersects line of sight one time.

Pretend the eyeball is the optic and the irons are buis. Then it's germane.

    ar15 zero - 100, 200, 300 yard zero? pros/cons?

We set our patrol rifles for the 100 yard zero. Urban environment, engagement distances do not stretch out like military applications do. Low and high at different distances is a reality with both my Acog and AimPoint equipped rifles. Training makes you be able to put the round where it needs...

    100 yard zero @ 25 yards?

Never was a discussion that it is a method for a precision shot, or standard zero. Just a way to get a rough zero at 100 yards using 25 yards. No more, no less. All the verbiage and deflection won't change that. I do know better than 4 MOA at 25 yards doesn't take 64 "adjustments" on a quarter...

    100 yard zero @ 25 yards?

Irons, scope, it works. Bore to whatever height sight you are using, it works. Towards the end of the article: "Years ago when developing our system, I took a very accurate, custom, match-grade AR-15 built by Ned Christiansen featuring a Leupold 3.5x10 power scope and set out targets in 25-yard...

    100 yard zero @ 25 yards?

This is really going off in the weeds. The value (measurement) of 1 MOA does change with distance. The number of "adjustments" required to change one MOA does not. 4 MOA at 25 yards is 16 "adjustments" on a 1/4 moa turret. You stated it was 64. That is 16 MOA, not 4 and if you set a rough...

    100 yard zero @ 25 yards?

Never said it was. Didn't mean to upset you by pointing out 66 adjustments was not 4 MOA at 25 yards. That would NOT put you on paper at 100. No need to spend a lot of keyboard time trying to Graham it up my ass. "I won't be able to make it to any 100 yard ranges before the next match and am...

    100 yard zero @ 25 yards?

Gets you on paper at 100, close to a precise zero. I'm sure you guessed that.
