I need a new set of Binoculars for hunting, the distances out here in the west are just a bit further than what I am used to in GA. I could also use a new spotting scope. I was thinking instead of getting a low/midrange spotter and low/midrange binoculars, I could possibly just pool the money...
For those that have some experience with both brands, which do you prefer? I shot both through my Savage (300gr variety) and both did very well. The Corbon speed was 2850 and the Lapua was 2750. I was only able to shoot them on my local range which is only out to 600yds.
I am looking at upgrading to an Atlas on my .338LM. I would like to remove the small sling attachment plate on the foreend of the stock and replace it with a rail to attach the Atlas. Does anyone know which rail section I need to buy? I know that I could get the generic one and us the channel...
