Re: 5.56 supressor reccomendation
I recommend the Gemtech TREK for the 556 can question. Gemtech has great customer service, you will shoot out 4 barrels before you shoot out the can, and its a direct thread flash hider replacement so it only adds 4" to your gun over all.
MSRP $525
Re: ---gemtech alpine 22LR can, tell me about it!!!
You made a good purchase with the aluminum can as long as you don't plan on shooting 17 hmr or 22 mag. You also could have looked at the Gemtech Outback II-D. It is a user dissassembleable can, its light aluminium, and runs $325 msrp...
Re: Crossfit
Crossfit an other full body max interval workouts will burn the most calories that fastest and lean you down the quickest. My wife has had issues since a car accident with staying in shape. Max interval training was the only thing that leaned her down.
Re: Pullup Routine?
Mark Twight's website of GYM JONES .com has several really great exercises that will greatly increase pull up and mantle strength. He is a World Class Alpinist with lots of climbing experience. A mix of man makers with kettlebell work and pullups will greatly help.
Re: Looking for suggestions please
I really like the 208 grain Hornady A Max loaded with Varget powder, you can load high without exceeding pressures and the 208 grain bullet has a BC of .64 because it is so long. I shoot it in a .308 and it is great.
Re: Need some 50 cal rifle and ammo info.
I work at a gun shop in Colorado Springs that sells and demos big bore guns. 50's specifically. If you don't mind a single shot, the Armalite AR-50 is a very accurate gun. It is simple, cheap(for a 50) and the muzzle break is far enough from the...
Re: Help 5 round magazine for POF-308
You can pertinently modify a 10 or 20 rounder. DOW states that modifying a mag pertinently will be ok. Drill and pop rivet the follow to stop at 5 rounds and you will be GTG.
Re: Trusts vs Individual Transfers
You may want to pay a little extra $ to have someone double check your paper work. If it is not done exactly correct the ATF can take your devices and guns once you pass away, or your family will have to re-file form 4's to re aquire the items.
Just a...
Re: Need help with a 308 win load using the Berger 185
I agree with the Varget. Somewhere around the 46gr area. Play with it and see what your gun likes. Varget is a nice low pressure powder and burns really even.
I am a big fan of the M1A SOCOM 16 because of its handiness. I have mainly shot DAG Nobel 147 nato ball out it to work on battle drills, but I have a scope for it as well and do some 168 Gr reloads for it as well. I have heard that shooting lightweight 110gr bullets are great out of this gun...
Re: 308 load for a M1A
I just got a Springfield Armory SOCOM16 and am looking to reload for it. I have heard that it likes the lighter bullets like 110gr or 125gr. Anyone have any experience at this? I have reloaded 168gr to 208gr for a Savage bolt gun, but SOCOM16s are new to me.
Thank...
