Just got my pmll and when I loosen the 2 screws on the turret and pull it up it won't come up that far and doesn't seem to slip so I can zero it. It still "clicks" any advice. How hard do u have to pull on the turret?

I have a S&B pmll and want the larue tactical QD 34MM Mount lt120. I say's that they are for a optic with no more then a 50 mm objective. I have a 20moa rail on a 700 action with a 700p contoured barrel. Will my 20moa rail give me enough room?
