    What are my groups telling me.

    Was out in the cold today sighting in a recent purchase. A Tikka 595 with a Douglas barrel on it in 17 Rem. 5 degrees and wind was about 5-10mph. This is just a break in period and trying to see if the rifle likes a particular round. But one thing I notice some times with my 5 round groups...

    Heavy weight 243 bullets

    I agree, just wanted to see if the gun could do it. I remember shooting 100 psp for deer and accuracy wasn't that bad. I would re barrel the old girl but it really would benefit from a decent stock but they are hard to find for a tang safety model.

    Put together another AR15. It is for some precision fun. Freefloat 18" 1-7 midlength gas system barrel with Surefire Brake, PWS stock with rifle buffer and spring. Geiselle SSE trigger. Was shooting some 77gr SMK the other day and it was a clover leaf at 100m. Everything is good that way...

    Re: fast twist .223 I would stick to the regular chamber in a bolt gun and go with a 1 in 7 twist for 90's. Also discuss with manufacturer how much leade they recommend for 90's.
