Re: .308 AR recoil question Recoil is not really the problem. There is so much mass in the action that it take a bit of the kick out; I run a slash buffer by the way. One problem you may want to watch out for is with all that mass in the action, the rifle can move around a lot when the bolt...
Re: Good AR? CMMG is a interesting company...I bought a new .308 lower from them that 10 different DPMS magazines would not drop free from. I noticed that in the mag well they "cut corners" and cut the mag well with an end mill instead of a broach or EDM. I contacted them and they told me...
Re: Totally disgusted with Leupold I had a Leupold grace my rile collection about 3 months ago. After playing with it for a bit, I popped it right off and slung it on the internet. The scope I had was a Mark 4 M1. Nothing about the Mark 4 tubes feels remotely beefy/strong at all. Also...
Re: New Advertisements on the Site Thanks for doing what you have to do. I have been reading stuff and trying to get smart for the last 4 years on this site, and appreciate the ability to still do so. Matt
Re: XD45 Tactical If it is to hard, just play around with the recoil springs, just make sure you don't adversely effect function. I would recommend that you get a trigger job done on it right away. I have a 9mm running a #20 or #22 spring. when I drop the #22, it is a bear to work the...
Re: White Oak Armament BCG I will say it is hard to get specifics from a lot of AR manufactures and distributors. As long as every thing is staked correctly and not from DPMS or Model 1...you should be good to go. If you want Tier 1 parts without questions, just go with LMT, Colt, BCM...
Re: IOR I had one and sold it, mine was not mil adjustment. I bought and sold mine for much less than that, but on the other hand it was here in the states. It is no USO, but was a very nice scope, very positive click and nice "clear" glass.
Re: Crank: High Voltage I was a bit surprised to see this movie coming out...I didn't think there was any way after the first one that they could make a second one. I am impressed, they will be getting a ticket out of me.
Re: New LRB M25 with S&B 1.1-4x24 I really like it, good use of the M25. I have a receiver sitting in the safe, waiting for a gun like this to be built on it. Good work. Matt
Re: I love my new SN3 I have had two USO scopes as well; T-Pal Canadian and SN-3 Slimline. My only gripe was that I waited 18 months for my SN-3. It was anodized in FDE type III, but every timed I emailed it was always at the anodizer. Good looking scope, looks like a Canadian on roids.
