this is the large version of our kwaiken design. this is one of a limited run of five i recently completed. it is forged 5160 spring steel with our Crime Scene finish. the scales are OD micarta with a wasp nest pattern. they run around 10.5" long are quite lively in hand. liontribe
Re: Warthog Blackout that is black hemp wrap. it is primarily aesthetic. i used hemp wrap in the original and the owner of this one asked for it as well. he wanted a black finish with light highlights and a dark handle material. black on black is always a good look to me. this model is...
just finished this one the other day. this model is from W2 tool steel and black canvas micarta. it is wearing the new Crime Scene finish and my Recurve grind line. i hardly ever do this grind because it is a royal pain. each grind line has two distinct curves and getting both sides just...
this one is 8" long and made from W2 tool steel. the scales are scalloped black canvas micarta. the finish is a striped acid etched pattern. overused name, but it just fits so well. liontribe
Re: CMMG Mk3 .308 please keep us posted on the performance of your rifle. i keep getting conflicting reports about CMMG products. i would love to have a new .308 and i was hoping this would fit the bill. liontribe
what is the general consensus on this rifle? i did a search and could not find much. it seems to be a lot of gun for the money. i have a pile of cash burning a hole in my pocket. i am looking at this rifle or maybe just going for a .300BLK build for some summer fun. thanks. liontribe
Re: RingMaster with Relic Finish yeah, i used some quarter inch W2 stock. it has a sweeping flat sabre grind. thanks, i kinda like the leather as well. liontribe
this is a new primal looking carry knife from W2 tool steel. it is just a tad over 8" long and will be getting a black antelope leather pocket sheath. liontribe
in keeping with my apocalypse theme for 2012, i came up with this little variant. it is 7.75" long and cut from a thick slab of 5160 spring steel. has a nicely rounded spine with a cut-out and notches along the way. a very stark, raw look and a mean little carry knife. liontribe
this is my fourth new model for 2012. it is 8.75" long and wears a multi-layer acid etched finish. it has a flat grind and random filework on the spine. scales are dymondwood with hemp wrapping. 1095 high carbon steel takes a wicked edge. liontribe
this is the big brother to my Slim Chance model. this one is from W2 tool steel and is about 8.5" long. the scales are blue and orange dymondwood. very striking in person. liontribe
