this is the large version of our kwaiken design. this is one of a limited run of five i recently completed. it is forged 5160 spring steel with our Crime Scene finish. the scales are OD micarta with a wasp nest pattern. they run around 10.5" long are quite lively in hand. liontribe
just finished this one the other day. this model is from W2 tool steel and black canvas micarta. it is wearing the new Crime Scene finish and my Recurve grind line. i hardly ever do this grind because it is a royal pain. each grind line has two distinct curves and getting both sides just...
this one is 8" long and made from W2 tool steel. the scales are scalloped black canvas micarta. the finish is a striped acid etched pattern. overused name, but it just fits so well. liontribe
what is the general consensus on this rifle? i did a search and could not find much. it seems to be a lot of gun for the money. i have a pile of cash burning a hole in my pocket. i am looking at this rifle or maybe just going for a .300BLK build for some summer fun. thanks. liontribe
this is a new primal looking carry knife from W2 tool steel. it is just a tad over 8" long and will be getting a black antelope leather pocket sheath. liontribe
in keeping with my apocalypse theme for 2012, i came up with this little variant. it is 7.75" long and cut from a thick slab of 5160 spring steel. has a nicely rounded spine with a cut-out and notches along the way. a very stark, raw look and a mean little carry knife. liontribe
this is my fourth new model for 2012. it is 8.75" long and wears a multi-layer acid etched finish. it has a flat grind and random filework on the spine. scales are dymondwood with hemp wrapping. 1095 high carbon steel takes a wicked edge. liontribe
this is the big brother to my Slim Chance model. this one is from W2 tool steel and is about 8.5" long. the scales are blue and orange dymondwood. very striking in person. liontribe
this is my second new design for 2012. i am trying lots of new things this year. this is a thick chunk of 5160 spring steel with a flat grind and acid etched finish. handle is dymondwood with stainless tubes. stout fella. liontribe
this is a new design for 2012. it is 8" long and it has a flat grind. all the edges are textured for grip. the handle is black walnut and cocobolo dymondwood with antique iron pins. the finish is a dark acid etched pattern. i am thinking a nice leather pouch sheath would go good with this...
this is a little piece i did for an LEO customer. it is 6.5" long and made from 1095. it has a textured/blasted surface with a deep acid etch finish. the scales are black G10 with my chipped flint treatment. i don't do this type of work often, so i thought i would share some pics. liontribe
here is a wild kwaiken design i just finished. it is a 9" long model from weathered 5160 steel. it has "flame" etching along the cutting edge. handle is flat black wrap over white deer leather with black menuki. liontribe
this is an older design with our new Black Vein treatment. it is cut from O-1 tool steel and wears dymondwood scales. the pins are antique iron. it is just about 8.5" long with a 4" blade. i am about to start on a black and tan kydex sheath for this one. that should match up pretty well...
anybody else like little neck knives? my wife carries one of these with a plain satin finish in her purse. i like to have a couple of knives at all times. it is pretty much the law in alabama. liontribe
the mrs. has taken to calling our little place the "knife farm". i took a few shots of a Lobizon variant today and you can certainly see fall has come to the deep south. i think i am subconsciously using autumn colors in my knives lately. liontribe
i just finished this one up today. it was a nasty, dreary fall day so i thought i would reflect that in this knife. i gave the finish a raindrop effect. this little carry cutter is just over 6" long. i used 1084fg steel and black canvas micarta for the scales. should be a fun carry piece...
i was inspired by the amazing work done by some knife makers with just simple files. i decided to do a bit of file work myself. this was a 12" Nicholson mill bastard file last friday. i gave it a make-over, you might say. really a fun project. liontribe
anybody here like to carry a fixed blade design for daily use. i am a knifemaker and started carrying my knives to show when out and about. i found that i really prefer a nice fixed design over most folders. here are some of my favorites. let's see some others. liontribe
