Having a 308 Win with a 26" barrel have thought of cutting it down to say 20"......My thought it would have less barrel movement thus it would shoot a tighter group.... Have seen a movement to 20" in law enforcement and in some tactical rifle matches when moving from fire point to fire...

My niece has a tag for elk hunting, could use you help on a bullet of 165 or 180 gr and some load information what ever might work. She is 15 maybe 110 lbs, small frame, has shot alot of 22 and 223....Shoots good yet no larger bores. Thanks....

Looking for load data for the 155gr bullet will be shot in a M1A or M14, will be for 600 yd shooting the 155gr bullets has a high BC much better than the 150's.
