Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

I just got my gen lll back from having the turrets fixed, and imho the turrets are now very close to perfect. My main complaint was how easily the lock would re-engage, but there now seems to be a detent which is great. Vortex was fast getting the work done and getting it back to me which is...

Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

I asked Eurooptic the same thing and got the same answer. I even got in touch with Vortex about time estimates. They said they can’t speak to particular venders but if someone orders directly from Vortex they are saying 4-6 months for delivery.

Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

I had asked them if they were getting any in soon, and they said there was a small batch coming in August. I must have just missed the cut.

    Night Vision BNVD UL WP

Thanks for the input guys I appreciate all the help I can get. I spoke with Robert today and he said 60 - 90 days for the L-3s but that he doubts it would actually take that long. I'm a big believer in buy once cry once so great tubes are my main goal. I've been saving for a while, and now it's...

    Night Vision BNVD UL WP

I am really glad that I found this thread. I can't really find anything on the NVD UL BNVDs. I am supposed to call Robert at JRH in a few minutes to talk about ordering a set of these with the L-3 tubes. DL32 do you mind the lack of IP set screws? Please bear with me because I am a complete noob...

    Range Report MagnetoSpeed sensitivity settings

Sorry I'm so late on this thread hahaha, only five years. Has anyone ever tested this? I got back from the range yesterday with velocity numbers and realized I forgot to change my sensitivity from my .22 tests. I was at setting 10 instead of whatever the "normal" setting is. My velocities were...

Rifle Scopes Another mil vs moa thread

I know that this isn't exactly what Frank asked for because it's caliber specific but I figured it might help someone. With my 6.5 Creedmoor AX with a 140gr. ELD going 2760 I use half the range in minutes for an 8 mph wind. After 800 yards I add 10%. For example, in an 8 mph full value wind at...

    AI question

So the official word from AI is that there was a burr around the ejector channel opening causing the marks on the brass. I believe they are replacing the bolt head. It was supposed to ship back to me the beginning of last week but never did. Then it was supposed to ship today but didn't. I'll...

    AI question

Ooooh now I know who Tom Irwin is. Sometimes I'm an idiot. Ok well I PM'ed him, we'll see what he says.

    AI question

That definitely makes sense to me.

    AI question

I noticed that burr too. I was wondering if it could be sharp edges.

    AI question

That could definitely be. I checked the ejector last night and it seemed a little gritty. I dropped oil in the ejector channel and pushed the ejector in and out to get it down in there and to bring whatever grit was in there out. There seemed to be some black flakes which looked like the coating...

    AI question

Great! Thanks for the name. I sent a message to AI through Facebook because I wasn't sure who to specifically get in touch with. Tom Irwin is on the hide?

    AI question

That makes sense. I'll re-measure my once fired brass tonight and make sure that the length that I had from before is accurate.

It is an AI barrel that came with the rifle.

    AI question

I thought of that too and chambered a couple rounds and then ejected them but the marks weren't there. My previous batch of brass I bumped .002 but it was still on there. I think I'm going to run some headspace gauges in the chamber tonight just to make sure everything is cool in that way.

    AI question

This happened to be new brass but it happens on bumped brass also. When you saw it on your brass did it have the "drag" mark next to the ejector do you remember?
