That looks nice. I assume the mag still has a nice snug fit. Did it make it that much better? I would venture to say that might be a nice improvement for Kyle to take under consideration because even though I rarely have a need to take my mag out (I mostly use it for single shot competitions)...
Thanks for the information. I was a little hesitant to use the ammo from what I had read on a few sites, saying it was most likely made in '59 and corrosive, not something one wants to hear. Thanks again.
I was trying to do some research last night on a lot of ammo I received in a trade and most importantly, find out if it is corrosive or not.... Box is marked as: AB 22 20 PATRONE 7,62 mm x 51 DM 41 Weichkern Los: F N M 87-59 So far, it appears that the ammo is from the Fábrica...

Re: Spacer for W1000 Thermal It's actually my brother's unit and his dealer got it from the original dealer who was putting them on the market from Raetheon. Unfortunately that's as much clarity as I have on that. I am thinking for a short term tactical fix, I will get him a 1/2" yhm...

Folks, anyone out there know if they makes a spacer to raise a Raytheon W1000-9 Thermal sight with the ARMS mount up slightly? The default height is too low to put on a flat rail. It only seems to fit on a rifle with a tapered hand guard or a bolt gun.
Re: 45 can supress 308 ? If you check out the tests that Silencer Co had done, the 300 BLK was in subsonic 220 SMK only. Quickload shows my case pressures on my 1000fps .308 loads to be about the same as my 220 SMK 300 BLK loads using the factory suggested 11.2 grs of AA1680. I cant see it...
Re: Can't get my Silencerco Sparrow apart I have the sparrow as well. I have put quite a few reounds down it and have yet to have a problem getting it apart with this method: 1. Using the cheapo Lyman knock off ultrasonic cleaner and the ed's red cleaner, with heat on I run it through one...

Re: AAC 7.62SD (PING!!!!!!!) I have all 3 AAC mounts, 1 BO on the 300 AAC 9" BO upper, 1 half brake on a Spike's 10.5" 5.56 upper, and the full brake on my .308 bolt gun. I can say I have never noticed a ringing and have gone back through videos and dont hear it either. Why would some do it...
