    It works when "Device Connect" is selected but I forgot to select "enter" by pressing the arrow on the center of the Kestrel keypad. My HUD was installed on the Kestrel but it did not interfere with the new connection. Thanks for your replies.

    Today I recieved my replacement scope as promised by Nichole. Finally someone had the juice to get it done. A big shout out to her. I got a DMR3 to replace my defective DMR2. Case closed.
