Re: Bolt roughness on the 700 varmint take the spring assembly out of the clip. thats where mine was rubbing. otherwise it does get smoother after 1,000 rounds. have a gunsmith lap the lugs for you. big difference.

Re: Getting started on reloading need some input save yourself a lot of time and find someone who is reloading the same type round that you want. hunting, benchrest, bolt-action or auto. if they have been at it for a year or two they can realy help you out.

Re: Suggestions for a 800 meter scope under $1400 nightforce 12 x 42 benchrest, $1428 new traded my 5.5 x 22 for it 22 power is a bit slim for 600 yard F-TR comp the guys with 42 power had a slight edge. Just received a March 8x80. could not believe 80 power was usable on a humid day.
